North Carolina chiropractors are getting educated about laser therapy!
Dr. Christopher Carraway of New Bern, North Carolina, has spent much of November 2015 traveling to Wilmington, Charlotte and Fayetteville teaching continuing education classes to help doctors learn about the benefits of laser therapy for their patients. Each class was 12 hours in length, and included information such as the science behind laser therapy, the latest breaking research, and proper treatment protocols. The doctors were able to get hands-on experience using state-of-the-art Multi Radiance Medical laser equipment, and Dr. Carraway was able to share some of his case studies with the classes. All in all, the doctors left with a deeper understanding of how low level laser therapy works and how to use it effectively to treat their own patients. For Dr. Carraway, teaching these classes is very rewarding. “I sincerely hope that more doctors will begin using laser therapy in their practices, because that means more and more patients can reap the benefits.”
